90 Day Plans For Food and Event Businesses
Do you find yourself focusing solely on results? The 90-day plan is your solution to concentrating exclusively on results. Think about being more consistent with your work, which will lead to better results. My first quarter focuses on understanding how daily and weekly actions lead to results.
Often people will solely focus on the goal without understanding the action needed to hit the goal. For example, a person can hit $100K in profit in 2022. It’s an attainable goal to achieve with a plan and strategy to hit that goal. Most new or small businesses fall; the victim does not know how to hit those goals.
This is where creating a 90-day plan makes a huge difference. In my recent YouTube video, I was able to break down how to create a plan and why it is essential to have one. I want to see you win and smash your goals. The upcoming blogs will give more information and insight on using goal setting effectively.
My new Goal Setting Bundle is available now. It helps you break down your goals into attainable steps. More attainable goals reduce feeling overwhelmed and discouraged. You may feel overwhelmed when you feel you are doing things without producing your desired results.
The 90-day helps with focusing on consistent actions to hit your goals. Over the years, I have read several goal-setting books. The 12 Week Year Plan by Brian P Morgan is by far the most impactful book. The author dissects how we can focus on actions that produce results. People do not hit their goals due to not having clarity on the actions or not doing those actions consistently.

How many goals to focus on in your 90-day plan?
I believe you should focus only on 1 to 3 goals during a period. This is true especially for solopreneurs in the food and event space. You are already stretched between working in and on your business. Until you can outsource or hire part-time assistance, I highly recommend keeping the main goals into bite-sized pieces.
Please do not think I’m saying to create small goals! That is far from the truth. Business owners tend to create a list of 5 plus goals without understanding those goals consist of 15 minor goals. You know your capacity and capabilities. Set yourself and your business up for success through practical goal setting.
How to avoid feeling overwhelmed with your 90-day plan?
You can avoid feeling overwhelmed by hiring support or creating goals based on your actual capacity. Yes, we see the hustle and bustle promoted online. You have to know what helps inspire or discourage you. I like to have goals that stretch me without creating consistent breakdowns. Your 90-day will require a particular focus and determination.
How to stay accountable with your 90-day plan?
Accountability is a crucial word for a successful business. Napoleon Hill mentions the power in a mastermind group in his “Think and Grow Rich.” Enroll other like-minded people into the vision and energy in focusing on a 90-day plan. Combining what is discussed in “Think and Grow Rich” and “12 Week Year Plan” for the best accountability group.
Accountability is not intended to make you feel bad or guilty. The purpose of accountability is being accountable for what you are or are not doing with your business. The key is not feeling discouraged with slipping up. Use slip-ups as fuel to find a way to improve your integrity. You are not a victim! You can create a structure for success.
